Saturday, April 27 Geary Hill Stables, Geary, N.B.
English coaches and instructors who test Rider Levels must attend the update clinic being held at Geary Hill Stables. This is required training for Rider Level Evaluators, as well as current coaches/instructors who wish to become tester. Sessions will incorporate a focus on Rider Level Paperwork. Topics to be covered include:

This training is also valuable for candidates challenging Rider Levels and Instructors/Competition Coaches/Specialists who want to prepare or evaluate these candidates. It is also open to Instructors, Competition Coaches and also Competition Coach Specialists who are doing mentoring and training and Coaching Exam candidates. This workshop is also a great opportunity to bank some updating hours. |

Sunday, April 28th Days Inn 60 Brayson Blvd Join us for the NBEA Coaching Symposium, to be held at the Days Inn, Oromocto. This day is for English or western instructors and coaches, anyone interested in becoming certified, current or lapsed coaches wishing to add to their knowledge base and earn PD points. The day has a full agenda of educational topics and discussions. Come and ask all your questions. Each session earns 3 coaching Professional Development points, for a total of 12 for the full day There are sessions for everyone. In the morning, we’ll look at all aspects of Professional Development and learn to navigate the NCCP Locker. In the afternoon, our panel discussion and rider fitness sessions will be conducted by Carol Mulholland. Carol is experienced in learning facilitation and coaching leadership, has served as a National team coach at Racquetball World Championships, and has been involved in sport leadership at the national level. Participants who attend Saturday’s Rider Level clinic may attend Sunday’s symposium for free. If you’re coming for the Sunday only, registration is $50 for the day. |

The afternoon's panel discussion and Q&A will be facilitated by Carol Mulholland. She will stay on to conduct the Rider Fitness session, including LTED rider fitness baseline testing, that will wrap up the day. Carol's list of accomplishments in sport and coaching are many: |

Parents, students, and non-certified coaches Please feel welcome to join us for the afternoon sessions free of charge. Of special interest will be the panel discussion on the safe sport movement.
LTED riders The fitness training demo we are planning at the coaching symposium is going to be opened to all the riders signed up for the LTED regardless of discipline.4] There will be another one later in May or June but LTED participants in eventing, dressage, and jumping are invited to come that day and time to get your testing done. If you can't make it, we will offer one more testing date later on.
