This equine safety class will be covering the following topics:
- pain detection and prevention
- lacerations
- flushing foreign bodies out of eyes
- hoof puncture wounds, thrush, abcess, white line..
- digestive emergencies (colics, chokes, collapse...)
- etc.
Through this course here is what you will receive:
- first aid manual including a vital sing chart, bandaging, lameness, heat stroke, poison, etc. and rescue techniques
- hands on practice and learning with the horses
- certificate of completion
This class is recognized under Equine Canada's guidelines for 6hr of professional development.
The price is 149$ (tax included), and 50$ for any additional family member who wants to attend.
